Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Sugar Land Sports Center collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you visit our website, contact us, or request a free trial.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Sugar Land Sports Center website and website-based inquiries. Information needed for enrollment, waivers, emergency contacts, payment, or participation may be collected separately after a trial is scheduled.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you contact us or request a free trial, we may collect the adult contact's or parent/guardian's name, email address, telephone number, preferred contact method, participant's first name and age group, sport or program interest, and information included in an optional message.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card information, financial account information, medical records, insurance information, or other highly sensitive information through our general website forms.
Information collected automatically
Squarespace and enabled website tools may receive limited technical information such as an Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, pages visited, cookie identifiers, and general location inferred from an Internet Protocol address. The information collected depends on the website features enabled when you visit.
2. How we use information
- Respond to questions and free-trial requests.
- Recommend an age-appropriate sport or class.
- Schedule or confirm a trial class.
- Communicate about schedules, memberships, programs, or facility information.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Maintain appropriate business records and comply with legal obligations.
Submitting a free-trial request does not guarantee or confirm a class reservation. An SLSC representative must confirm the class.
3. Youth information
Our website contact and free-trial forms are intended to be completed by adults. If a participant is under 18, the form should be completed by a parent, legal guardian, or another adult authorized to arrange the activity.
Children under 13 should not submit personal information directly. If we learn that information was submitted directly by a child under 13 without appropriate parental involvement, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or address the collection as required by law.
4. How we share information
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with employees and instructors handling a request; Squarespace and providers supporting hosting, forms, storage, email, security, maps, analytics, or scheduling; professional advisers; or government agencies and courts when required by law.
SLSC does not sell personal information for money. If our advertising or analytics practices materially change, this policy will be updated.
5. Cookies and outside services
Squarespace and enabled third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies to operate and secure the website, remember settings, understand website use, or support embedded content. Browser settings or an available cookie banner may allow you to control optional cookies.
Our website may link to or display Google Maps, video providers, social-media platforms, scheduling tools, or other outside services. Those companies process information under their own privacy policies.
6. Communications
We may use the contact information you provide to answer your inquiry or arrange a requested trial. Promotional email or text consent will be optional and separate from the required request acknowledgment.
You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the instructions in that communication or by contacting SLSC. Operational messages about an active request may continue while we are working with you.
7. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, operate our programs, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, protect the facility and participants, and meet legal obligations.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No website, email system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to provide information associated with you, correct inaccurate information, delete information no longer required, stop promotional communications, or address information submitted for a minor. We may need to verify the requestor's identity and authority, especially when a request concerns a minor.
Send requests with the subject line Privacy Request to info@slsportscenter.com.
